When creating the new directory (August 2017), emails came from the mail chimp distribution list or the directory from the old website. In most cases, these are the same email. You should have received a welcome email from shady harbor requesting you to reset your password.
Each account can have two emails linked to it. You are sharing your account and password with your household. This is no different than the old website. If you change the password, let others in your household know what it is. If you have a need for your own account/password then send an email to the new accounts/password issues on the contact shady harbor page
If you have received an email indicating you were added to the directory and given a temporary password or an invitation to establish an account, only one person in your household needs to do so.
Trying to logon with your email and password from the old website will not work. You can always make your new password the same as the old one but you need to set it up that way.
If you have already been approved for an account or anytime that you forget your password, reset your password by providing the approved email and clicking on forgot password? in the login box. You will be asked for your email again and click on submit. Check your inbox for this email account and click on reset my account password which will being you back to the website. Enter your new password and click on Reset.
To change your address and other account settings, click on the v to the right of your name once you are logged in and select account settings. You can provide a secondary address, email preferences, and more.
